What about cookies and other identifiers?
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and remember the items in your ad cart. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, but if you do, some features, such as logging in or keeping items in your cart, will not work. We do not use cookies to sell your information.
To understand how our website is used, we count visits without cookies. For each page viewed, we record the page, the website you came from, your approximate country, your type of device, and an anonymous identifier that changes every day and cannot be used to identify you or follow you across days. Does Cattle Cast share your personal information?
Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and we do not sell it. We share personal information only as described below:
- Service providers. We use other companies to perform functions on our behalf, such as processing payments (Stripe), hosting our website and database, and sending email. They have access to the personal information needed to perform their functions and may not use it for other purposes. Card numbers are handled by Stripe and are never stored by Cattle Cast.
- Show hosts and producers. When you buy advertising, we share the details needed to produce and air your ad, such as your company name, script and talking points, with the hosts and producers of the shows you chose.
- Business transfers. If Cattle Cast or its assets are sold or merged, customer information would generally be one of the transferred business assets, subject to this Notice.
- Protection of Cattle Cast and others. We release account and other personal information when we believe it is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our Conditions of Use, or protect the rights, property or safety of Cattle Cast, our customers or others.
Other than as set out above, you will be notified and can choose not to share your information.
How secure is information about me?
- We encrypt information in transit using TLS (the padlock in your browser's address bar).
- Payments are processed by Stripe, which is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1.

- It is important to protect against unauthorized access to your password and devices. Choose a unique password for your Cattle Cast account and sign out when you use a shared computer.
What about advertising?
Our podcasts carry advertising from sponsors. Ads in our shows are read or played in the audio itself and do not track you. We do not give advertisers your name, email or other information that directly identifies you. Podcast hosting platforms and listening apps may collect information under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
